The Internet East Asian Library:  www.foreast.org/cs

This site is managed by Tao Yang, an East Asian Librarian at Rutgers.  It lists sources that are available on the internet for East Asian area studies (Chinese, Japanese, Korean).  These sources include those that are made available by scholars, academic institutions and government agencies.  One of the most helpful sections of the site include a listing of databases that provide digital collections.  In addition to providing names of databases, brief descriptions of them are provided in order to allow the user to select databases they deem most relevent to them.  Also, all the sources listed on the site do not require registration to access them.  This is one of the main requirements of the website–only sources that are free and available to the public are listed here.
